ATTENTION PLEASE.

So I'm watching the Vampire Diaries (season 1, episode 8) today. Yes, I did start them over. (A mom from swim team recommended it to my mother. So, while she's only seen two episodes and doesn't really follow, or care to follow, the show...I'm justified, right?)

Episode 8 is Alaric Salzman's first episode. And we all love Alaric, because...gees. I don't know why we all love him. But we do. We just do. So I'm all, "aw, Alaric! You're here! Alive! Human!" And I'm getting all mushy all over again.

And then, my mom says, "HE'S IN LEGALLY BLONDE! I KNEW I RECOGNIZED HIM!"

And while she went on about how it had been keeping her up all night...I was pretty much swallowing a bomb! Cause she was RIGHT!

Ladies, (let's be real. We can leave the gentlemen out on this one...)

I give you...

Alaric. Slash...Warner, the guy who refers to Elle Woods as "Teddy Bear."

Why Disney killed Mufasa:

Dear Blog,

Knives are dangerous. So are names. And so, both will be withheld from my post.

Anyway, I've had reason lately to realize how...mm...spoiled I am. Reasons:

1. I have a job. A good job, where I make full, fair minimum wage. Where I'm safe.
2. I have clothes that fit, are nearly always clean when I need them, and suit just about every kind of average-day situation.
3. I have a car to drive. And I can afford the gas I need to put in it.
4. My parents, as well as all four of my siblings, are alive.
5. My family lives together; my parents are still married.
6. I'm not paying my parents' bills.
7. I'm in college.
8. 95% of my shoes don't have holes in them; my work shoes are fully functional.
9. I have a fully-functioning cell phone.
10. I have time to have friends. And a boyfriend, who treats me like a princess.
11. I have time to sleep for eight hours a night.
12. I have the opportunity to eat three meals a day.
13. I'm part of a minority that can say half of those things;
14. I'm part of a smaller minority that can say all of them.

Life is not fair.
